At I Can OT, we understand that life after a neurological event or illness can feel uncertain. We offer the individual a safe space to begin exploring how they wish to live and work to develop a roadmap for their rehabilitation journey. Our name and philosophy were developed through years of experience with clients who went from saying ‘I can’t’ to ‘I can’. Every person is a product of what they do each day and how much this means to them. At I Can OT, we use a solution-focused mindset to encourage clients to set goals without considering the boundaries of their disability. We then create a personal therapy plan tailored to their unique needs and aspirations, considering the physical, cognitive, and social skills required to achieve these goals.

About Us

Danielle Nobre, Director and Occupational Therapist is a neuro-specialist with a wealth of experience. She graduated in 2010 with a first-class Bachelor of Science with honours and has since worked in various inpatient, community, and outreach settings in the UK and South Africa. Since 2017, Danielle has been in independent practice, serving clients with brain injuries involved in litigation and private clients who have self-referred. Her expertise is evident in the high-quality reports she provides throughout the litigation process, which include standardised outcome measures that demonstrate the client’s baseline and the effectiveness of the therapies provided. In the early stages of rehabilitation, these outcome measures show tangible progress in various components that contribute to the achievement of greater functional goals. Danielle is registered with the HCPC-UK and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Neurospecialist Sector.

I’ve been working with Danni ever since she was recommended to me by a neuropsychologist some years ago, and she is now my first port of call when I need an OT.

Her clinical skills and range of knowledge/expertise is beyond that of most other OTs I have worked with. She forms excellent relationships with her clients and with the professional team. She is very creative in her approach and supports clients to reach truly meaningful goals.

I Can OT Limited is a neurological occupational therapy service based in Hinckley, Leicestershire. We rehabilitate individuals aged 16+, and clients are referred within a 1-hour 30-minute radius of this area.

We are centrally located, enabling us to take clients within the West Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and parts of Lincolnshire.
